I grew up in the Seattle area and have lived in the Puget Sound region all my life, growing up in the shadow of all the beauty the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
At the age of 20, I took a bad fall in an equestrian accident and injured my lower spine. Because of the chronic pain I have endured for years, it lead me to massage treatments for relief. Massage not only gave me my life back, it enabled me to ride and even compete in the equestrian events I love. Without massage, my pain could be almost unbearable at times. Massage is now a cornerstone to my own personal wellness program.
For over 20 years, I worked as a commercial electrician. When the economy took a turn for the worst, it empowered me to follow a path that I have always believed in. Massage was the obvious choice for me because it is something I not only used myself, but know it's ability to help reduce stress and pain first hand. I enjoy helping others so massage gives me the ability to be part of the solution and not the problem.
But for as much as I love the NW, my heart belongs to Maui. I am passionate about the Hawaiian culture and traditions so I am starting studies in Hawaiian Lomilomi massage. I currently have learned a few basics and love to use them.
My current massage style is based in traditional Swedish massage but I love to incorporate Lomilomi techniques to give a special massage which is unique. Since I understand the special needs that create the pain that comes with hard work and life, I can easily tailor your massage session to your needs as they very from session to session.
I look forward to meeting you and to help you down your path to wellness.
